1 Box Hospitality is a leading restaurant, related food product and services operator. Currently our brands are based in Central Florida, and are focused on the casual dining segment, offering Southern-influenced food and menus.

1 Box Hospitality is lead by Fred Johnson, a second generation restaurant operator and lover of good food and celebrating life with family and friends. The Johnson family has been in the restaurant business since 1954, when Fred’s parents, Elton and Evelyn Johnson, opened the first location in Plant City. Today the company operates 6 casual dining restaurants including: Fred’s Market in Plant City, Lakeland, Riverview, Sarasota and Coming soon Lake Mary, as well as, Johnsons BBQ in Plant City. The organization is privately held, employs over 550, and serves over 1.8 million customers annually.
1 Box Hospitality is more than a corporate brand name, it’s a culture and way of doing business and living. Our companies and brands serve three important stakeholders; the employees, the guest and the communities, which includes our investors, neighbors and vendors.
