Exciting changes spice up company

It is with great pride I’m introducing a new name for our management company and the first edition of our restaurant family’s newsletter, Fresh Pickin’s, a compilation of our company blog.

Almost a decade ago Fred’s Management Company was established to professionally operate our restaurants and related businesses. With your contributions to the organization, we are where we are today. I sincerely thank
you all.

As we continue to grow, we have set ambitious goals for the company including:

  • Being a rewarding and healthy workplace
  • Providing customers, both local and visiting guests, with a quality product, a unique and remarkable dining experience at a fair price
  • Contributing to the community as a model corporate citizen
  • Earning an honest profit for our shareholders

As of April 1st, we are renaming our Fred’s Management Company, 1 Box Hospitality. The new name better reflects who we are and, more importantly, establishes a clear identity for our culture, our values and vision.

This effort will include a new branded graphic for corporate identity, amplified communications, like this quarterly newsletter and a greater commitment to building a robust company culture. We want this effort to develop our people and make everyone proud to be part of our restaurant family.

Within the next few months, all of Fred’s Management company materials and our marketing will transform into the 1 Box Hospitalitybrand.  We will be launching a company website to link all of the restaurants and continue to fine-tune all of our brands to better compete in the marketplace. We will be rolling out a new loyalty program for all of our stores. Also, we will be refining many of our hospitality-focused training programs.

We have lots cool things going on and will do our best to keep everyone informed and in the loop. I invite you to learn more about our new name and logo in the following articles.
